In February 2023, Ava was found in a snow bank in Weaverville, California.  Her Momma Trinity and two other siblings had been found a week earlier.  All three were taken to the Trinity Animal Control Office and then moved to the Trinity Animal Hospital til a Volunteer from SafeHart could pick up.  Ava was adopted by a family from Sacramento.
