Everyone meet Buddy. He was relinquished to our Pennsylvania location yesterday morning. Unfortunately, his owner was getting evicted yesterday morning, she showed up begging us to take him in. We of course could not say no, especially due to the physical state he was in... he needed our help desperately. Upon further investigation, it was clear Buddy had severe mats as tight as could be to his skin from head to toe. His ability to walk normally was troubling since the mats were so tight and wrapped around his front legs and feet. We started to shave him immediately because he was so uncomfortable. He was such a good boy through the whole process, we updated his shots, tested him for heartworm and tick borne diseases and will give him the much needed TLC he deserves before finding his forever home.
